This is the fifth year of the Ashokan Rail Trail (ART) 8-Mile Run, which is run entirely on a well-groomed unpaved carriage path paralleling the beautiful Ashokan Reservoir in Ulster County. The race starts and finishes at the Woodstock Dike Trailhead of the ART in West Hurley, NY.

  • Parking (free) is limited, so we have a cap of 100 participants, and carpooling is strongly urged/needed.

  • There will be awards for the first man and woman overall, the top 3 in all standard age groups, and a commemorative item for the first 100 registrants.

  • The race starts at 8 am to beat the heat, and packet pickup begins at 7 am.
