As an Ulster County resident all my life, I have been running these roads, trails and hills for over 30 years. The Onteora Running Club has held my membership for over 20 years. In the past five years I’ve also joined the Shawangunk and the Keegan Army running clubs. Each one offers something unique. My husband (of 51 years!) and I in the town of Accord. We have three grown sons, a 10 year only granddaughter and a 1 1⁄2-year-old grandson. After my retirement as a special education teacher in the New Paltz School District, I have enjoyed running, biking, swimming and hiking. I love meeting new people, doing fun runs, and facing new challenges. Hearing runners plan and meet their running goals each year is inspiring. My goal is to keep running and motivate runners of all ages and ability to continue to stay fit and live their best life.
