Happy Saturday All, I have a big update for you today, so let’s get started….

We had a great turnout for our 9th Grand Prix Race at Rosendale Runs.
66 runners challenged the 4.4 miler, survived that wicked climb around mile one and finished back at the rec center.
Results for the race can be found here.

The next race we want you all to be aware of, and support if you can, is Morning Star’s Run for Shelter 5K.
All proceeds from this run go to support local area homeless shelters and a rehab center.
The run will take place on Saturday October 23, 2021 at 9:00 AM, with on site registration between 8:00 – 8:45 AM.
You can also register online here.

On October 30, 2021 at 8:30 AM we will be holding our Fall Adopt-A-Highway Clean Up on our stretch of US Route 209 between Sawkill Road and Route 28. We will be posting additonal info in the coming week, but if you’d like to RSVP now, please email Phil Canion at

After you’ve done your community service at our clean up, we will be fielding a team the 11th Annual Ulster Corps Zombie Escape.
This annual event will be held at Williams Lake in Rosendale with the Kids run starting at 11:00 AM, the 5K at 11:30 AM and the 2K Walk at 11:45 AM. There will also be an awards ceremony at 12:30 PM. If you haven’t signed up yet, make sure you join the ORC Team for a $3 discount on your registration.
Additional Info can be found here.

Finally, as unbelievable as it is, our last Grand Prix Race is just around the corner.
On Sunday November 14, 2021 the Shawangunk Runners will be presenting the After the Leaves/Josh Feldt Memorial Half Marathon at Minnewaska State Park.
There will also be a virtual option available and all info can be found here.

While we strive to keep this site updated often, for the most up to date info, you can find on Facebook at:
