What happens when you combine great trails, fresh mountain air, delicious food, campfires, and an amazing group of runners?
You get an unforgettable weekend!
From May 14–17, ORC members gathered at the Telemark Ski Club Lodge in Vermont for our inaugural Vermont Getaway, and it exceeded every expectation. The spacious lodge became our home base as members arrived throughout Thursday and Friday, ready for a weekend of running, hiking, biking, relaxing, and simply enjoying each other's company.
🔥Friday Night
Friday evening kicked things off with group runs and walks, followed by a potluck dinner featuring enough homemade and store-bought favorites to satisfy every appetite. As the sun set, everyone gathered around the firepit for the perfect end to the day.
🥾 Saturday Adventures
Saturday offered something for everyone. Some members headed out for scenic trail runs, others explored the beautiful Vermont countryside on foot or by bike, and many simply enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the chance to unwind. Whether chasing miles or taking it slow, everyone found their own adventure.
Saturday's fun didn't end on the trails. That evening, many of us headed into the picturesque town of Brandon, Vermont, where we enjoyed a cold beverage, listened to live music, and spent a relaxing evening together. It was the perfect way to cap off another fantastic day in the Green Mountains.

Of course, no ORC weekend would be complete without plenty of good conversation. Meals stretched into hours, friendships grew stronger, and new members quickly felt like old friends. That's what makes this club so special.
